White Turmeric powder scientifically known as Curcuma Zedoaria is a spice which is native to South Asia and Southeast Asia. White turmeric is commonly known as Poolangilangu, has white interior and a fragrance reminiscent of mango. However, its flavor is more similar to ginger, except with a very bitter aftertaste. At Maduras Herbals we grind the white turmeric in a fine powdered form without losing its nutrient value.
